Survey 3, Rickenbach-Willisau, 23.7.2011

Breakfast at the breakfast room at the breakfast time of 7:04 am.

Sheep's weather.

How clouds are making bolts in reality.

After Brian O'Doherty's white cube is the next hot thing the grey sphere.

Such a nice house.

Another contribution to my folk art archive.

Optimus Prime.

An interesting, very natural tree constellation.

Symbiosis between nature and technique seen from the point of view of a tree.

I bet 4:1 that this was originally an ammunition storage of the army.

A limitation of useful area by water.

Back on the mosquitoes track.

Archive stuff.

The place, where Chinese Art has been invented.
Keywords: swiss, ambassador, collector, contemporary, chinese

Truly temporary spaces.

Another beauty.

Reasonable handling with public money.

Probably the nicest kindergarten in the world in a former gravel quarry.
In Ettiswil: http://www.naturlehrgebiet.ch/

SUV.

Obviously I am getting in to a former tributary area.

Just a nice chapel, next to Schloss Wyher.

And the way out.

German for beginners:
'Völkerwanderung' = very bad for empires
'Volkswanderung' = very good for local gastronomy

Folk archive - variation of the basic idea for people without children: also later birthdays could be announced.

I'm just recording.

It's probably that the man could erect a pole for a second time on the same occasion.

As I saw the castle, the château and the interesting wood building next to it, I did now, that I have to make a detour.

Therefore I entered truly hostile tribal area.

Ritual objects manufactured from industrial intermediate goods.

Fully equipped public picnic place (mind the shambles)

A really felicitous analogy to a castle made in wood.

Also the château was very surprising, in the same house very representative and balanced to the valley side (long rang effect) -

but folklike to the entrance side - just realised by an box-cut.

When I saw this wooden hallway I thought, that it makes sometimes sense to have feudal structures, in some matters they had better tools to act comprehensive.

It's just important to have also the tools to take the power back from time to time.

Description plate: This is one of the best preserved ruins in Switzerland...
I thought, Albert Speer was the last guy who was thinking in this dimensions...

'Mega butcher'.
I imagine that means in the first silo is a pile of beef, in the second of pigs and in the third of chickens and in the ground level are rotating chain saws.

The frontier of Willisau.

The vomiting house.

There are people they think, in Switzerland the rules are way too much limiting.
I think they are wrong obviously everything is somehow possible.

Preurban variations for the archive.

My room in Willisau, next to the historic centre - when I remind my self in the right way, that was the cheapest place on the whole trip - who wonders.

Original since the 1960ies.

Outside view, I was of course in the building at the right.

Somebody lost some letters, in a very decorative way.

Where I started to think about the meaning of live: in almost every restaurant in the German speaking part of Switzerland is Cordon Bleu on the menu - beside of the French name, I was not sure if I ever saw it somewhere outside of that area.
But as correspondents told me, at least in the French speaking part of Switzerland also exists.

A very concise centre.

Litmus test: as soon it needs such a sign you know, something went wrong (maybe the architecture, but more probably the social parameters).

Typical educative toy.

Finally the heavy metal church.

Privileged real estate in the background.

As it looks, also the official community is involved in that folk movement.

Only the urban layout could deliver the reason to build a dormer.

Political brisance in the province.

With a distance of about 100 m to the example, how a street space could be solved in a good way this training ground for the wrecking ball.

The most recent upgrade in my hotel room.
